After a hard-fought political
campaign, the state of Sonora has a new Governor.
The new Governor, Eduardo Bours Castelo (PRI),
emerged victorious after a long and exhausting
political campaign against Ramón Corral
Ávila (PAN).
The people from Sonora are ready to start working,
and in general terms, are glad to know that after
some time of expectation about the new government,
Governor Eduardo Bours, will now start to implement
a very hopeful development plan announced throughout
his campaign.
The new governor took up his charge on September
13th 2003, and will be governing for the next
six years.
We are confident that Sonora has a new leader
and we hope to translate this into more opportunities
and development for our state, and by then, our
country.
