and architectural importance, is the church “Purísima
Concepción”, the oldest church in town
and formerly used for important events.
Also, the City Hall building built during the
1940’s is the site of this county’s
powers.
The downtown is colorful and alive because of
the great variety of products and merchants there
are from everywhere, making the city a great place
to buy arts and crafts. Also the food is magnificent
and gives a very accurate idea of the typical
Mexican food.
Walking in downtown Nogales, Sonora is for sure
a great experience and an unforgettable adventure.
The bullring (Plaza de toros) and the Bullfighting
(Fiesta taurina), as well as nightclubs are typical
places tourists must visit in Nogales. |
