Magdalena’s main cultivations
are wheat, corn, beans, forage, barley, alfalfa,
among other fruits and vegetables.
Cattle breeding has great importance, having
a natural land of 139,311 hectares.
The industrial activity is an important factor
for the city’s development; generating 2085
jobs. Among the several factories, there are,
they stand out the following:
* Avent – produces aprons, overalls, and
coats, and employs 609 persons.
* E.D.S. Internacional – produces boards,
switches, and coils; generating 122 jobs.
* M.C. Davis Internacional – produces transformers,
inductors, and communication devices.
* Molex – produces connectors and switches.
It generates 115 jobs.
* Musa – produces saddles and leather reins.
