| Arizpe is located at the North of
Sonora at 800 meters above sea level, 65 km away
from Aconchi. It borders to the North with Cananea,
to the East with Nacozari de García, to the
Southeast with Cumpas, to the South with Banamichi,
to the Southwest with Opodepe, to the West with
Cucurpe, and finally to the Northwest with the municipality
of Imuris.
It has a total area of 2,806.78 square kilometers,
which represents 1.5% of the total area of Sonora,
and just about 0.14% of the national surface.
