Important festivities take place
the fifth of May, or on September 16th which is
the celebration of Mexican Independence, but there
are many other celebrations and fiestas throughout
the year as well.
Each February, Douglas and Agua Prieta join forces
to present the annual Piñata and Mariachi
Festival.
